Personal Information Received by MP Truck Design

MP Truck Design has 2 sources of personal information, both based on Section 8 of the Personal Data Act.

The main source of personal information is the information you provide yourself. This mainly occurs through the contact form on MP Truck Design's website. The contact form serves as the meeting point between potential/existing customers and MP Truck Design. It is completely voluntary whether you want to fill out such a form or remain a passive visitor on the site. Personal information collected through the contact form includes phone number, email, and name.

Following the contact form, additional personal information may be generated through email, phone, and similar correspondence between MP Truck Design and you as a potential/existing customer.

Another source of personal information is the information collected by MP Truck Design itself. Collection occurs through Google Analytics. It captures how long you stay on the site, your IP address, the links you click, and the number of users on the site at different times, to name a few.

How MP Truck Design uses personal information

The purpose of the contact form and subsequent correspondence is to follow up on inquiries and obligations towards customers. MP Truck Design relies on such an open platform between itself and its customers to ensure satisfactory communication and end products.

The purpose of the information from Google Analytics is to improve the website experience. This can include making layouts more user-friendly, understanding user trends, streamlining and delivering services in a better way, and preventing criminal behavior such as hacking.

The legal basis for MP Truck Design's processing of personal information is Section 11 of the Personal Data Act.

How to manage your personal information

The limited amount of personal information collected by MP Truck Design from you and on your own initiative is very marginal compared to other actors and online services. This has resulted in self-management of personal information, such as settings in user apps and personalized advertising settings, not being applicable to us. The collected personal information is not used for such purposes, as mentioned.

However, you always have rights related to your personal information, which you can read more about below.

Information sharing with third parties

MP Truck Design does not share any personal information from the contact form, its own collections, or information from others with any third party. Should such sharing occur, you will always receive a consent request from us.

Secure archiving, deletion, and internal control

In accordance with Section 13 of the Personal Data Act, all personal information received by MP Truck Design will be archived on a secure email or server for as long as the working relationship between you and MP Truck Design exists. Upon termination of the working relationship, all communication and personal information will be deleted within 2 years.

MP Truck Design has an internal control system in place to ensure that archiving, security, and deletion are carried out according to objectives and in compliance with legal standards.

Rights

Under the Personal Data Act, as a user or customer of MP Truck Design, you have the right to be forgotten, the right to data portability, the right of access, and the right to object to profiling.

The right to be forgotten means that you can request the deletion of all personal information held by MP Truck Design. If not requested, MP Truck Design will still delete most personal information 2 years after the end of contact.

The right to data portability allows you to receive a digital copy of all personal information that MP Truck Design has about you. This right also means that you can transfer this personal information to another organization if technically feasible and reasonable. Personal information covered by data portability includes personal information provided to MP Truck Design, such as through the contact form, or automated personal information generated through the use of MP Truck Design's services.

The right of access means you have the right to see what information MP Truck Design has registered about you.

The right to object to profiling gives you the right to refuse MP Truck Design from profiling your usage and behavior, and thus tailoring our services to you based on this profiling. Typical examples include personalized advertising, service development, market research, etc. However, this is not highly relevant to MP Truck Design as we have limited interest or use for such extensive profiling.

To exercise one or more of these rights, please contact us. You have a legal right to receive a response from us within at least 1 month.

Children's privacy

MP Truck Design neither wishes nor needs to collect or process personal information about children under the age of 16. Such personal information must be provided through a parent or guardian.

Any personal information left by children to MP Truck Design will be deleted as soon as MP Truck Design becomes aware of it.
